I grew up the daughter of a fashion designer and all around creative genius (shout out to mom!), so I've always had an emphasis on design in my life that makes the pursuit of beauty and balance not only accessible and exciting, but essential.  While earning my BFA in drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, I made a concentration for myself on costume design (while keeping up my makeup artistry), designing for my friends' shows and working in the university's costume shop.  The bottom line is this:  I love making things.  I do it every day.  It's part of why I've kept myself in acting, in design, and in makeup.  I find that each art informs and betters the others, and I'm just pleased as punch to be able to balance them all in such a kinetic and wonderful city.
